VNN, a Grand Rapids-based high school sports communication platform, has announced a partnership with BoxOut Sports, an automated sports graphics solutions company.

High school sports are being professionalized across the U.S. BoxOut gives high schools the same tools for promotion as college and professional teams.

BoxOut software reduces the process of creating video and still graphics to a few clicks. Sports information directors at the University of Notre Dame and Ohio State University use the program. The partnership between VNN and BoxOut integrates VNN’s database of information, which includes 10 percent of the nation’s high schools.

Of VNN’s schools, 68 across 14 states have started using the service, including Temple High School in Texas, which has nearly 3 million pageviews each year on its athletics website.

“We’ve got the most passionate fans in the country,” says Mike Lefner, site administrator for Temple High School. “While we’ve always been committed to promoting our teams and their achievements online, this software will make everything better, from pre-game promotion to athlete spotlights. It’s going to have a massive positive impact on Wildcat Nation.”

VNN connects 19 million parents, athletes, fans, software providers, and athletic professionals.
