Located in the Atlanta suburb of Marietta, Life University is a private school home to bright and highly motivated students. Lindsey Farley from Life University explained her passion for advertising and marketing at Life, and how beneficial VNN has become for her company. Lindsey shares her advertising experience with VNN, and how our companies work in tandem to better the high school community.

I have worked at Life University for 16 months as the Marketing Project Coordinator. It is a wonderful place to work and learn. Life University offers 12 undergraduate and four graduate programs rooted in innovation and purpose, along with the world’s largest single-campus chiropractic college. Life University is unique within the metro Atlanta area as a University focused on the health sciences from a vitalistic, holistic perspective. Our students study in small sizes where professors know them by name, and earn wellness-oriented degrees like positive psychology, nutrition and dietetics, exercise science, chiropractics and more. Our campus is also a hidden gem here in Marietta – it’s a 110-acre campus with walking trails, reflecting pools, athletic fields and an outdoor amphitheater. At any given time you’ll find students fishing in the lake, jogging on the trails, playing on the bocce court, or enjoying a picnic outdoors.
The University’s community involvement spans from a Chiropractic Community Outreach Center in Marietta offering free care to those who cannot afford chiropractic care in private practices, to one of the most affordable and well-known holiday lights shows in the Southeast, Lights of LIFE, among much more. Our academic departments, athletics department, and student organizations all put a special emphasis on community work and can be found volunteering at soup banks, local community days, health and wellness fairs, environmental centers and more around Cobb County. We love giving back to our community.
I chose to opt-in Life University as an advertiser for VNN because Brandon Rogers, my local rep, was extremely informative and friendly the day that he stopped by to share what VNN has to offer. After researching the company, and seeing all of the opportunities to connect with our local high schools, it was automatically a perfect fit for us.
Life University decided to partner with VNN because it fits our target market to a tee. All of the high schools we are sponsoring now are within 30 miles of our campus located in Marietta, GA. This allows students to have access to a local university that has a diverse range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs, as well as a rapidly expanding athletics department.
Since partnering with VNN over the last year, we have seen growth and heavy traffic to our Eagle Madness Undergraduate Program Preview Day that we had advertised for more than six months across 15 different high school websites.
VNN allows me to swap out campaigns whenever I see fit. The team and my local rep Brandon Rogers are accommodating and easy to work with; they’ve made working with VNN easy and affordable. Life University plans to obtain approximately four more sponsorships as more local Marietta high schools partner with VNN.
We currently sponsor 17 local high schools and plan to add three more as they join the VNN family. To name just a few: Roswell, Sprayberry, Pope, Alpharetta, Pebblebrook, and Wheeler. We have strategized to partner with all schools in our immediate market and are finding that this is extremely beneficial to us connecting with our community.
I would highly recommend partnering with VNN to any business looking to further their reach for advertising. It is a unique opportunity to connect with local high school athletes looking to take the next step in their education.
