We’re psyched to announce our newest member of the VNN team, Dave Baker, will be taking charge as Ohio/Kentucky Media Consultant. We look forward to working with schools around the state to make it easy to have the website your department deserves!
Get to know Dave:
Where did you go to high school?
North Greene High School in White Hall, IL.
What’s your sports story?
I played football and baseball (in high school) and was lucky enou
gh to play at Illinois College and then coach both sports.
What’s your favorite college sports team?
Wittenberg University Football because my oldest son plays there and Ashland University Baseball because my youngest son will be pitching for them starting in 2013.
What’s your favorite professional sports team & why?
I have always been a huge Chicago Cubs fan, there is no greater place than Wrigley Field.
Why did you join the VNN team?
The product is second to none, its an easy way for athletic departments to promote their athletes and programs while using all types of communication to help keep the public informed. I’m looking forward to working with the schools, to increase fan support and also helping to bring in sponsorship money for athletics.
